OIL CAPITAL ROD & GUN CLUB BYLAW CHANGES AND DUES INCREASE

The membership voted on two questions that changed the bylaws. Both questions passed. The following will affect you the member.

1. The dues increase passed and now the annual dues will be $185. Dues with penalty will be $260.
2. Regular dues collection now runs from September 1^st through October 15^th. This means you will have 45 days instead of 60 to pay your regular dues with no penalty.

Other changes that affect the operation of the club.

1. Non-repetitive expenditures over $25,000 will require the approval of the majority of the membership responding to a ballot that identifies the need and the source of the funding.
2. Repetitive expenditures suchas Insurance premiums and clay target loads that do not exceed $35,000 may be approved by a majority vote of the board.
3. The Budget Committee will be named at the October business meeting with at least 4 members and a balanced annual budget will be presented at the December Business meeting to go into effect on January 1.
